Description/Album Notes:

Ashley returned to the theme of concept albums with this masterful work that even features her teenage daughter, Mikayle, on background vocals and synthesizer on two of the albums tracks. With the concept of someone during their sleep cycle seems to be more of a subconscious statement about Ashley's battle with overcoming her past. Containing an array of choirs, electronic instruments and soothing operatic vocals, this album is more about emotion and feeling than any album in Ashley's history. Highlight tracks are: Anybody Alive In Dreamland?, Liberty Lost In Labyrinths, Staring At Elysian Fields and Wake Up For The End!

Review: Steve who? Joe who? Eric who? Yngwie who?? Much to learn... they still have. This instrumental concept dream isn't just guitar and a bunch of senseless licks linked together. This is a master at work. Lots of mood, puncuation, dynamics, melody, textures, and downright...OH LET'S LISTEN TO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN........Ashley is and has always been one of my favorite guitar players. I want to be in her band. Well that's my dream...... BUY IT!

A very solid album from a woman with the vision and creativity that is sorely missing in most modern music. Jimi Hendrix could never 'Dream' of playing 'Wordless Screaming' and well as Ashley's version :-). The instrumentals 'Liberty Lost In Labyrinths' and 'Staring At Elysian Fields' are very moving pieces with great harmonies but "Anybody Alive In Dreamland' and 'Wake Up For The End' what can I say? ....BEAUTIFUL....left me in tears and wanting more. The fact that both of those songs contain keyboard and vocal work by Ashley's daughter Mikayle also speaks volumes for just how beautiful and personal this album is. Judging by her performance, then like mother like daughter cause she sounds and plays incredible.
